Valerin Venneth Romero Alvarado

I am an English teacher with a certified C1 level (FCE and PUCP Language Center) and experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. My interdisciplinary academic background in Sociology (UNMSM) and Administration & Technology (UPAL) allows me to apply flexible and culturally sensitive teaching approaches, tailored to students’ social and developmental contexts. My methodology is grounded in the principles of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, with which I have worked extensively as a coordinator and facilitator of social, educational, and environmental projects.

I have led workshops for young people focused on emotional well-being ("Imagine, Explore, and Create"), intercultural learning (Quechua language course for teenagers), and social skill development. I have also served as an editor and coordinator in academic and youth organizations, strengthening my communication, planning, and educational leadership skills. I am patient, empathetic, and passionate about teaching, committed to helping learners feel confident and motivated in their English language journey.

My teaching style combines a communicative methodology, the use of interactive digital tools, and the integration of current global topics that connect language learning with students’ real-life contexts. This promotes not only linguistic competence but also personal and global development. I am available for in-person or online lessons, both individual and group-based, and I tailor each session to meet the specific needs of my students.
